The exhibition TORINO design attitude, supported by Torino Chamber of Commerce, is part of the project TO-DESIGN IN THE WORLD.
The aim of the project is to convey Piedmont designers abroad, highlighting their design skills and their high propensity to research and innovation.
On the occasion of Designersblock ‘09, from 24th to 27th of September, Làbora has designed a sustainable space showing the creative attitude of the Turin district.
We are going to show our projects Stories about, ceramic objects for home, and Sweet wait, a queue remover system to sweeten waiting situations. Our friends magmaprogetti will present Reggio, a magazine holder system.
Sweet wait has been published on Pasticceria Internazionale n.216, January 2009, the leading technical-professional magazine about artisan confectionery culture.
We have been selected to take part in DAS - Designer after school exhibition, with our projects Sweet Wait, Torino Colors and Stories About. The exhibition, organised by I.T.A.C.A. Department of Sapienza, University of Rome, and supported by ADI, collects projects of designers under 40, working in different design fields (product, furniture, exhibit, fashion, transportation, communication) and it will be open until December 18th, in Largo Ascianghi n°5, Ex-Gil, Rome.
Piemonte Torino Design exhibition, wherein our project Sweet Wait is displayed, starts its tour all over the world.
The first stop will be in Mexico, Guadalajara, Galerias Plaza Centro Commerciale, until January 15th.
Sweet wait, a new and simple way to sweeten waiting situations, will be presented at Piemonte Torino Design, from June 20th to September 21st, in Turin. The queue is a frequent and annoying situation in everyday life.
Sweet wait wants to sweeten this ritual, with irony and taste, creating an intimacy space within everyday caos.
A candy for every numbered ticket, in an essential packaging, whose dimensions fits in existent "queue removers" characteristics.
A simple gift to pamper the customer, made in collaboration with Guido Castagna.
